I’ve had the pleasure of working with Yuri at XPO for almost two years and never cease to be impressed with his enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, and professional versatility. A core part of XPO’s Business Intelligence org, Yuri has played a number of critical roles including Project Manager, ScrumMaster, Global Jira Admin, GitHub Admin, and Planview Admin & Financial Auditor. Yuri helped build out a Central BI Platform, which hosted various applications across multiple Business Units, from the ground-up. In another effort, Yuri consolidated financial data from incoming and outgoing shipments between multiple Business Units into a single database so that Internal Business Users could access accurate data from a single source of truth. For another Business Unit, he created a platform that completely replaced existing ETL procedures, making data retrieval more streamlined, efficient, and more accessible to everyone in the division. He also collaborated with the former Director of IT Program Management to build a Project Management Office (PMO) for the entire North American Transportation division. He created and implemented a system whereby all project managers would be able to use standardized practices, procedures, and tools in order to carry out day-to-day Project Management efforts.
